Behind the Camera.
I’m Chris Gonzalez, a Southern California sports photographer and Computer Engineering student at Cal Poly Pomona.
I grew up in the South Bay and began freelancing toward the end of high school. Since then, I’ve photographed athletes, teams, and events while continuing to develop my style behind the camera.
Soccer is my specialty, but I also cover baseball, football, and special events. In 2026, I joined Gear Up New York in a Public Relations, Digital Media and Photography role, documenting the people, service, and purpose behind a 560-mile cycling journey across New York.
My goal is to capture more than the final score—the action, intensity, and moments that tell the complete story.
